from INFINIBAND TRADE ASSOCIATION
The InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) is pleased to announce that JaguarMicro has become an official member company.
Jaguar Microsystems (hereinafter referred to as JaguarMicro), based in Shenzhen China, focuses on cloud computing and data center data processing unit (DPU). Its products provide accelerated Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) and RoCE for data center applications.
JaguarMicro joined the IBTA to enhance adoption of RDMA technology in the data center, as well as to participate in drafting of emergent InfiniBand specifications.
“As the core component of the new generation data center infrastructure, JaguarMicro’s DPU will actively promote the adoption of InfiniBand specifications in the data center and promote interoperability through plugfest and specifications hosted by IBTA. We are looking forward to deepening cooperation with other members of IBTA,” said Henry Zhang, COO of JaguarMicro.
“Since 1999, the IBTA specifications and programs have earned a wide range of support from the tech industry and established a solid foundation that will be built upon for years to come. We welcome JaguarMicro to the IBTA, and look forward to working with them on the future development of InfiniBand and RoCE specifications,” said Brian Sparks, IBTA marketing working group chair.
